Carman Elementary School has an active parent council, known as ACSL (Advisory Council for School Leadership) which meets monthly, and you are invited to take part as a member of the board, or simply attend meetings as an interested parent looking to learn about our school and programs, make connections, and ultimately support us in helping our kids have a wonderful elementary school experience.
ACSL runs lunch programs (hot dogs, milk etc.) and does fundraising to pay for field trips and swimming for all students, as well as other extras that are not covered by school or divisional budgets.
In past years, ACSL has been pleased to provide experiences such as Missoula Children’s Theatre, a very special week of musical theatre with workshops and a full production. The Elf Store in December allows children to buy small Christmas gifts for parents and raises money for Carman’s Christmas Cheer Board.
We also enjoy treating our staff, as we know how hard they work for our kids. Simple meals on the evenings of Student Led Conferences as well as our Christmas Appreciation Lunch are ways we say thank you.
The very important thing to note is that the school DOES NOT share your email address with us. Please send an email to email@example.com and we will add you to our contact list so you will get all the information about the programs we provide.
Watch for school calendars which will be marked with our meeting dates and plan to come out at least ocasionally to learn more about what is going on at CES.
